Faithful Presence Stewartship

For some time now, we have been aware of some necessary updates and renovations needed for our Genesis facility.  The scope of these projects goes beyond standard facility repairs.  After much consideration and prayer, we believe it is time to conduct a stewardship campaign in order to raise the sufficient funds to meet these needs.

In the Fall, we will begin to communicate and cast vision for the Faithful Presence Stewardship Campaign.  We have chosen this name because our God is with us and present in the world.  He uses a people who are faithful to His presence to make Himself concrete and real among the struggles and pains of the world.

For over 175 years, there have been a people gathering in Royal Oak to attend to His Presence in worship and to share the reality that God is present in Jesus Christ through acts of compassion, reconciliation, and justice.

Our project has three parts: the first involves the necessary repair of the flat portion of our roof; the second is a renovation of our sanctuary—including new carpeting and refurbishment of the altar area; and the third is an upgrade of our front courtyard area.  Our goal for this campaign is $300,000.

We would love for you to join us on this journey as we come together as an extended family and demonstrate our faithful presence in Royal Oak.   Starting on Sunday, October 16, we will be teaching on Faithful Presence and gathering in small groups to discuss this in community.  On Sunday, November 13, we are going to come together and pledge our collective resources to meet these needs and celebrate God’s faithfulness.  Commitment cards are available at Genesis or to make a contribution online visit our Giving page at (link to giving).

We are very much looking forward to the next year as we come together as a family for this stewardship campaign. If you have any questions about how to further your own discipleship, or suggestions as to how we might achieve our Campaign goals, I would love to hear from you at
